A Message from your PTO President

Dear St. Linus Families,

I hope that you were all able to make your parent teacher conferences in November. What a great opportunity to learn about your child’s progress. Thank you to all the teachers and staff who put in their time and effort to make these valuable experiences for our parents and students. With Thanksgiving now behind us, we are reminded to be thankful for a great school, teachers, staff, students and parents. You are all appreciated!

Now on to the busy holiday season! This year the school will be hosting its very own “St. Linus Holiday Boutique”, December 14 thru 16. Envelopes will be going home so the children can prepare for their holiday shopping at school. Each class will visit the shop during school hours and your child will have an opportunity to do their own holiday shopping.

Service

WE NEED YOU!!!
Each year St. Linus has several special functions that we host so that we can enjoy each others company and our students! BUT they do not happen without planning and volunteers! We are looking for parents to chair some of our special events so we can assist in making these possible! We also need volunteers to set up and work! Without you we cannot even start preparing for the events and they could possibly be cancelled. Please contact the office if you would like to chair one of the below events, be on the committee or volunteer to work that event. Jennifer Perez- PTO Vice President

Fundraising

Scrip- Last day for Special orders will be placed December 7th
School Cents- Please save all receipts from Los Cerritos/Stonewood and Lakewood Mall from Holiday Shopping turn into office after Christmas break. St.Linus will be receiving Double points in January for all receipts logged.
Red Bucket Flyer sent home- Please send your completed Bucket in by December 7th
CPK Fundraiser- was another successful event. Thank you to all who attended.
